Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Nyumbani Prime ("Platform"). By creating an account or using any feature you agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. Accounts are personal; do not share login credentials. A live face scan is required at signup for all account types and may be re-requested if suspicious activity is detected. Misrepresenting your identity, business or role is grounds for permanent suspension.
2. Account types & obligations
- Renter / Buyer: may search, save, contact and review listings.
- Personal landlord: may only list properties they personally own or are legally entitled to lease.
- Agency: must provide a valid business registration number and lead agent.
- Broker: may post on behalf of clients but must disclose this clearly.
- Mover: must provide valid vehicle registration and operate lawfully.
- Maintenance-service provider: plumbers, electricians, carpenters, interior designers, door fitters, etc. — must be qualified for the service offered.
3. Listings
Listings must be accurate, current and lawful. Photos must depict the actual property/vehicle/service. Duplicate, scraped, scam, hate-speech or discriminatory listings are prohibited and will be removed without refund. Nyumbani Prime may verify listings and request additional proof at any time.
4. Fees & payments
Listing fees: KES 50 per listing in Kenya; USD 3 per listing internationally. Maintenance and mover profile publishing also incurs the same flat listing fee per published profile. Fees are paid before publishing (M-Pesa Paybill or Google Pay) and are non-refundable once a listing is published, except where required by law. False M-Pesa codes will cause the listing to be removed and may result in suspension.
5. Conduct
You agree not to: harass other users; circumvent platform fees; collect personal data of other users for purposes outside this Platform; scrape, reverse engineer or attempt to disrupt the service; post discriminatory content. We reserve the right to remove content and accounts at our sole discretion.
6. Movers & maintenance providers
Movers and maintenance providers operate as independent contractors. Nyumbani Prime facilitates the introduction but is not party to the contract between the user and the provider. Users are responsible for inspecting the work, agreeing on a price in writing, and reporting issues promptly.
7. Reviews
Reviews must be honest and based on a real interaction. Fake, paid or retaliatory reviews are prohibited. We may remove reviews that violate this rule.
8. Cart & favorites
Saving a listing to favorites or adding it to your cart does not reserve the property. Availability is confirmed only by the landlord/agent in writing.
9. Disputes
Try to resolve disputes directly with the other party first. If that fails, contact us at disputes@housinghub.global. For formal mediation you may also use concilivobrasil.com. These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya; the courts of Nairobi have exclusive jurisdiction.
10. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the account page. We anonymise your personal data immediately; listings and reviews are retained under a "Deleted user" label to preserve marketplace integrity. See the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nyumbani Prime disclaims all warranties (merchantability, fitness, non-infringement) and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
